When I was a young girl, I asked for clothes instead of toys every year when my birthday rolled around. I also “got lost” at Walmart one time and ended up being found in the women’s shoe department (0f course!)
Dress-up was always my most favorite thing to do and well, it still is! Although my style has morphed over the years, from tutus to say… tulle skirts or something, my passion is ever the same.
Growing up, I always figured I would get my degree in fashion merchandising, move to New York, and work for some huge corporation as a visual merchandiser. As college time quickly approached, I decided to stay in San Antonio and go to a community college here. I ended up getting my associates degree in business administration and let me tell you friends, even THIS was a struggle for me. I wanted to give up half way through, but I pushed myself because I knew that I was more than capable and that there was value in the degree. After receiving my associates, I went against what most would advise and said no to a bachelors.I decided that life is too short to spend my parents’ money and my time on something that I’m not absolutely, positively, head-over-heels in love passionate about and so… Here I am. Who knows? Maybe one day I’ll decide to go back to school, but for now, I feel that I am where I belong: Creating my dream and sharing it with you. 🙂
Thank you for your support and for riding along on this beautiful journey with me. It will NEVER be perfect, but it will ALWAYS be worth it, right?!
